Bayelsa Education Development Trust Fund

Projects

BYEDTF has embarked on several projects in the time since its inauguration that have made significant impact in the educational sector of the state.

Worthy of note are:

Intervention in Model Secondary Schools

Bayelsa State Government established twelve (12) Model Secondary Schools across the eight (8) Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state to help children realize their God-given potentials through the provision of quality and affordable education which is a right of every child.

The EDTF provides feeding for students in all the Boarding Schools, basic facilities such as water, electricity, science equipment for laboratories, books (text and note), equipment for ICT laboratories, school uniforms, periodic training and retraining of teachers, minders and handlers in the schools to ensure the sustainability of the boarding program.
