COMPLETION OF ROOFTOP COMPUTER LABORATORY AT THE BAYELSA STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (BMU) YENAGOA

The Bayelsa State Education Development Trust Fund has supported the state owned Medical University in the completion of a roof-top laboratory for the conduct of practical in the university.

The fund resolved to intervene in the project to enable the university acquire interim accreditation from the Nigeria University Commission (NUC) at its take-off. Part of the functions of the EDTF is to intervene in critical areas with the goal of general upgrade of education in the state.

The Fund through its Monitoring and Evaluation Committee headed by Professor Francis Sikoki monitored the project which was undertaken by the university to ensure compliance to standard and guidelines.

The BMU Roof-top Laboratory has been completed and put to use.
